This one is worth seeing even if you'll be a bit groggy for work.

There's a total eclipse later tonight/tomorrow morning. Here's the NASA page with diagrams for all US time zones and GMT.

This will be one of the longest eclipses in years. The next will occur in February, then we won't see another total eclipse until Dec 2010.

Yes, it is true. To the chagrin of astrologers everywhere, scientists have discovered a 10th planet. To be fair, there is still a debate raging as to whether this chunk of ice is really a planet, but, owing to the discovery of a moon, it's becoming more likely that the argument will come out on the planet side.

What really tickles my fancy is the name thing. They named the planet Xena. And just to make damned certain you know where they got the name, the moon is named Gabrielle.

Hey, folks, next moon has to be Joxer!
