Grand Chapter

I leave in a little while for Grand Chapter -- the state meeting for Eastern Star. A chance to see old friends and do some politicking. It is nice to get away from the tensions of home and spend some time with Mom and sisters. BUt I leave with a heavy heart due to unfinished business -- I have offended a friend and have no chance to square it with him before I go (strangely appropriate -- to square is a Masonic term).

At each Star meeting, we pray to live uprightly so as to avoid offending others. I shall keep that in mind more often.
