lurkittyI got to the point where I was very depressed today. I won't recount all of the badness, suffice it to say it overwhelmed me. I ran out of my place of employ, having worked late, trying to hide the fact that there were tears in my eyes.

altrus who has a heart as big as Minnesoter. He was going to chanting tonight and he took me along. Kirtan is a Hindu devotional practice of chanting/singing to music that puts you into this wonderful ecstatic meditative state. I went and I put my heart (and a few other chakras) into it and felt all warm and fuzzy thereafter.
Then I came home and found a lovely card from Professorfiona_fawkes in my snail mailbox!
