Adjectives are useful words that should always be approached with a modicum of caution. Their underuse makes our lives dull and boring, overuse can lead into a flowery abyss of poetic lunacy. I try to be circumspect in the use of adjectives for this reason.

Tonight I met three wonderful people.

miladycarol and her household are absolutely delightful. I was charmed by her warmth and acceptance as we sat and traded anecdotes.

What a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon! With people who earned all the nice adjectives I could muster.
