The pulp of the matter
Jan. 25th, 2006 01:13 pmPaper. I am beginning to really hate paper. I have to find a way to deal more effectively with it. My desk is littered with it. The one small file drawer in my desk that I have is full. My desk is littered with paper. I have instituted a policy of immediately transferring data into loose leaf notebooks. That has helped, but has led to dozens of loose leaf noteboks inhabiting my desk. I work in a cubicle. I’m running out of room.
My house has also been taken over by paper. I start out with a clean table, and in the course of a month, it gets covered with bills and notes and everything. I bought a big plastic drawer file thingy, but that’s full now. There’s a huge pile waiting for the shredder.
Books. Books are made of paper, too. They come into my house, I read them, love them and can’t seem to part with them. They sit in piles. I need to go sell them or something.
Paper. Gah!
