What did I forget?
Jun. 23rd, 2005 06:53 pmOh yes, then there's the part where I wax poetic about quantum wave functions when in the right "mood". Pure math is such a tremendous concept. I once lived with a conceptual artist and sat through many hours of debate on conceptualism. Conceptualism, at it's core, is reductionism. Purity of function. Out of that purity comes form, and form follows function. A single line in conceptual art may refer to an entire object. That is purity of form. So, reduce further to components. Pixels, particles, paint solvents. Light waves. Wavefuncions. Form follows function. Quantum mechanics is a conceptual art.
